Plus, you can’t beat the taste of fresh fruit juice! This one is naturally vegan and gluten-free and loved by kids and adults alike.
Just like my celery pineapple juice, this strawberry juice recipe is FRESH, easy to make, and delicious.

Health benefits of strawberry juice
- Rich in vitamin C (MORE than an orange), contributing to a strong immune system.
- High in antioxidants, which helps reduce the risk of serious health conditions.
- A great source of manganese which supports skin and bone health.
- Strawberries contain flavonoids that may contribute to keeping blood sugars in check.
- Naturally sweet with NO added sugar.
Ingredients
Here’s all you need to make this delicious strawberry juice recipe.
- Strawberries: Use fresh over frozen strawberries for the best flavour, and it’s even better when in season.
- Lemon: The lemon juice adds a touch of tang and brightens the juice, but is not overpowering.
Instructions
(This is a summary with step by step photos, full recipe measurements and instructions are in the recipe card below.)
Start by juicing your strawberries.
Then add the lemon.
TIP: Let the juicer (affiliate link) run an extra few seconds after the last piece of produce has gone through to get all the juice out. When the pulp stops moving, turn off the machine.
Pour into glasses and enjoy straight away!
Variations
This basic strawberry juice recipe can be customized as you’d like. Here are some suggestions for you:
- Make it sweeter by adding pineapple, mango, raspberry and/or blueberries or other berries. You may also add agave or maple syrup to make it extra sweet, but if you’re using fresh in-season strawberries, that shouldn’t be necessary.
- Add more citrus like orange and/or lime juice. Or replace the lemon with orange and make it strawberry orange juice.
- Add some greens like kale, spinach, parsley, and/or mint leaves.
- If you’re serving picky eaters, use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to strain the strawberry juice.
- Or use this delicious strawberry juice to make mocktails and/or cocktails! 😉
What to do with the strawberry pulp?
- Make popsicles or flavoured strawberry ice cubes.
- Add some to pancakes or other baked goods.
- Use it in smoothies, or add it to your breakfast oatmeal.
Equipment
We use (and LOVE) our Sana 727 Supreme Juicer (affiliate link) to produce to highest quality juice.
Here are just some of the reasons we love it:
- Brushless DC Motor: Sana patented their own design to produce a motor that is lightweight, durable, quiet, and powerful. This motor has an unlimited run time (unlike most juicers on the market with a 15-30 minute run time). Even if you won’t be juicing that long, it speaks to the motor’s quality.
- Auto reverse feature: This awesome feature means that in the event of any produce getting jammed, the motor will automatically reverse for 2 seconds to clear the jam!
- Variable speeds: This is particularly handy when juicing different types of fruits and vegetables. With 4 different speed settings, you can adjust to the produce you’re juicing, and how much time you have in the morning. 😉
- Easy assembly! Attaching the juicing drum to the motor base is incredibly simple, and so is removing it. Just press the button to unlock and twist.
- Easy clean up: Another of my favourite features! You can disassemble and wash all its parts in 2 minutes flat. 🥳
- Multiple juicing screens: This model comes with 3 different screens to suit your needs. A fine one for the highest yield from harder items like celery and apples, a course one for softer produce like strawberries, and the “blank” screen for making nut butter, nut milk, sorbet, and more!
- 15-Year Warranty!!! So you know they stand behind their product. 😉
What if I don’t have a juicer?
While I highly recommend using a juicer for making juice, you may also use a high-speed blender if you don’t have a juicer.
Add all the ingredients to your blender with a touch of water (or coconut water) if needed to get things moving, but don’t add too much water or you will dilute the strawberry flavour. Then blend until smooth.
Serve with ice cubes if desired.
Storage
Fresh juice is best enjoyed immediately. Since there are no preservatives, freshly made juice can spoil quickly.
If you made more than you can consume, you CAN store it in the fridge in an airtight jar OR invest in a vacuum seal pitcher or jar that allows you to vacuum pump the air, for best results.
Expert Tips
- Make the amount of juice you plan to consume, not extra. Freshly made juice without preservatives will not keep very long, and for optimum health benefits, should be enjoyed straight away.
- To speed up juicing prep time, you may wash and dry your produce the night before and refrigerate it in a sealed container. Then in the morning, your fruit is ready to pass through your juicer.
