Here’s all you’ll need for these air-fried peas.
- Peas: Use frozen peas that have been thawed. Place them in a shallow dish to thaw faster. Or pour hot water over them using a strainer in your kitchen sink if you’re in a hurry.
- Spices: Choose your favourite spice mix. The below recipe has seasoning options for Italian and BBQ flavours.

Place the peas and seasoning in a small mixing bowl and stir well.
Arrange them in a single layer in your basket, and air fry them.
Remove them from the basket, transfer them to a bowl, and enjoy warm!
Equipment
I use a Ninja Foodi 8qt basket-style model. However, like most air-fried recipes, you can make these in any model of fryer.
As always, different models will cook at different speeds, so make sure to watch the peas carefully and start checking on them around the 5-minute mark.
Storage
This recipe makes a small batch, so you’re unlikely to have leftovers. However, if you do, refrigerate them in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Instructions
- Place the thawed peas in a small bowl and add the seasoning of your choice. Mix well, and arrange the peas in a single layer in your air fryer basket.
- Air fry the peas at 350℉/176℃ for 8-12 minutes, or until the desired doneness is reached. Mix or shake the basket every 2-3 minutes.
