Crispy, garlicky, buttery, deliciousness! Air fryer garlic bread is addictive and easy to make, crispier than ever and the perfect appetizer, no matter the meal. Ready in just 10 minutes.
4slicesciabatta loaf or French bread*my slices were approx. 1.5 ounces each
2tablespoonsvegan butter or margarinesoftened
4clovesgarlicminced
¼-1/2teaspoondried parsleyfresh is best but dry works too
salt + pepperto taste
Instructions
Halve your ciabatta loaf and then cut four slices. (I used about half of a ciabatta stick per batch.) So if you want to use the entire loaf, you'll have about 8 slices.)
In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic and parsley with a little salt and pepper and mix well. Divide the mixture between your four slices of bread and evenly spread.
Add ¼ cup of water to your air fryer, below the basket, to prevent smoking. Then arrange your garlic bread on the basket, it's fine if the slices overlap a little. Set the fryer to 360 degrees F and cook for 5-8 minutes, until desired crispiness is reached. Start checking on it around the 4 minute mark.
Notes
Use good quality bread for the best results.Try your best to cut your bread into equally sized slices for even cooking and crispiness. If you're making multiple batches, keep in mind that subsequent batches will cook faster since your fryer will be hot to start. For gluten free, sub for your favourite gluten free bread.Don't forget to add the water below your basket to prevent smoking. If you're using salted butter or margarine, you may skip adding additional salt.
